Various hair conditions can affect anybody. Be it the young or the old and irrespective of the gender hair conditions are not something which should be ignored at any point. Alopecia Areata

Premature hair loss leading the baldness is referred to alopecia in medical terms. It is natural for some amount of hair to fall daily (about 50 to 100 strands) but if the hair fall is more than that it is a cause of worry. Alopecia is a condition in which hair falls but does not grow back. The reasons behind this can be poor circulation, poor diet, infections, diseases, anemia, and nervous system injury. Tinea Captis

This is a hair condition caused by fungal infection to the scalp. Bare patches of skin start showing on the scalp and this condition can also affect the hair one eyelashes and eyebrows. Children who are under the age of ten are mostly affected by this condition. Tinea Captis can be easily treated by first curing the fungal infection.


One of the most common hair conditions is dandruff. The white flakes are shed from the outer layer of the skin on the scalp and eventually fall out on the shoulders. There are mainly two kinds of dandruff: dry and oily. Dry dandruff is very difficult to remove by brushing. Oil dandruff is more severe as it is patchy and crusty.
